On Jan. 5, 1992, he was consecrated bishop of Athabasca.
He was consecrated Metropolitan, Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land on June 1, 2003 at St. John's Anglican Church in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
